Something Elegant..

As soon as I saw the picture for the January Challenge of Art Bead Scene Blog, I said to myself.. I have to make something. I just love birds and flowers and I really liked the color palette! Here's what I made...

New Rings...

I made polymer clay canes that I used in the orange cuff I made last week. From those canes, I came up with two rings and another cuff until I used them all up. Now I'm so excited again to make new canes! I'm getting addicted in making those skinner blends LOL!

Sunrise...

I played with clay today and this is what I made...

I really didn't like it so much. It was supposed to be a cuff design. I will try again and hopefully come up with something nice. Maybe go back to making flowers LOL!

Component Flower Cane..

For this month's challenge, I planned to try Donna Kato's Component Flower Cane Technique. You can read about this in her book The Art of Polymer Clay-Millefiori Technique. 

It's putting together different kinds of canes to form an image. It's like painting with clay!

I'm not really very good in making polymer clay canes but I think I'm getting the hang of it! I'm beginning to enjoy it now :D

I didn't have time to take pictures of all the designs I made today. I made lockets and a cuff. So I'll just give you a sneak peek of what I'm going to post tom. This is a compact mirror I made for myself. :) 

I really love this technique!! Pls. watch out for the other designs I made:)
